Nutritious Foods makes our Body Healthy


Everyone is questioning ourselves if what is the theme all about which is “Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan, Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan”. We need a right nutrition to our body? Why? We need to avoid lifestyle diseases? How? What will it gives to us? What will be the result of it? May we have to celebrate it? Many questions are coming from our mind when we hear this theme, not only those mentioned questions because we have concerns about this theme, right?

Yes! Everybody needs a right nutrition for our body because it gives health to us and it will be the wealth for ourselves. I believe in the saying “health is wealth” because if our body is healthy, we can do our job, we can do what we want to do and if we can do everything, its possible that everything will be our wealth, happiness and our life will be colorful. If our body is not healthy, we can also help our not healthy body to avoid it if we were going to eat nutritious foods that we have. But not all foods are nutritious and not all are always agreeable to our body. Vegetables are one of the examples of nutritious foods. Not only eating this kind of foods can avoid our lifestyle diseases, our body also needs exercise for our strength, not drinking alcohol, not taking cigarette.

There has 12 months in a year, July is the nutrition month. In this month, many activities about this theme was done by the head of TLE department and Step Club in ISNHS like cook fest, food fest, mural painting, nutri-jingle, etc. In these activities, we learned many things about the foods that we eat everyday that affect to our body. It’s better to eat nutritious foods than the junk foods, fatty foods because these are the foods that possible our health will affect of it and we didn’t sure if those foods are agreeable to our body.

So, we need right nutrition and avoid our lifestyle diseases. If we were having already a healthy body, it's better to prevalence it. But if we don’t have, we must need to do everything to make our body healthy.
