Filipino-Values Celebration

Month of November had been passed; this month is the Filipino-Values Celebration. The theme is “PAGPAPATIBAY SA PAGKATAONG PILIPINO: TUNGO SA HAMON NG BUHAY".


The Values Club made some activities like jingle, food fest, cook fest, essay writing, poster-slogan making, kite flying and other activities which help students build up their talents and skills. As a student, of course we are free to join those activities. Every activity in this month, there is always having a lesson for us. We are challenging how to cook, sing and dance and others. Every in the morning after the flag ceremony there would always have the morning trivia. But, we, Rizalians are not joined this activities for the reason that we are attacked of many things need to do first. But, in this month, it held also the intramural meet of our school, we, as the member of the Red Cross Youth, we participate for our duty that we will give the first aid who’ll be needed for it and in the City Meet also.


The activities by the Values club are so memorable even though we were not participating for the other activities.

Moving Forward

Imagine!!! That yesterday was just the first day of our class, but now second quarter is already through. It just proves that time really fly so fast. I already learned things a lot about html in our TLE subject.

In our TLE subject, we encounter again things that connected to the computer which is making a web page by the html tags by using the notepad. As a beginner, we encounter the basic tags first before the taking others like inserting a font attributes which are the font color, face and the size. We also took up the background image and the background color that we insert in the web page we did. If we insert a tags, we must need to insert the less than (<) and greater than (>) signs so that it will work, the end tags must have a slash(/) after the sign of less than because this will be sign as the end of the start tag we insert.

I also encounter a problem in this quarter which is forgetting and getting loss to insert a slash at the end tags. By the help of our teacher and classmates, I easily move on in this challenge that I’d encounter.

Proving that I understand about the html, I succeed to finish my nine activities.

I’ll still continue my studies by doing my best to success, the challenge that I encounter is my inspiration to moving on.

Third quarter is here again!!! Go on!!!

It will be possible to reach this goal

Technology makes our work easier

We all know that the people in the generation before are living so hard because they must need to use their hand to do their job like washing their clothes, cooking their foods using charcoal, sending a letter by writing it, going to the other place by using the kalesa/they will walk and other hard work. We are so lucky because in this generation, we’re living in the world of computer because most of us didn’t use anymore hand by hand for the work that’s not like before that so hard. As for now, if we are washing our clothes, we still using our hands but we’re now practically used the washing machine. If we want to tell something to anyone that far away from us, we can easily send it by using our cell phone, computer with internet and other gadgets that can use to communicate to them. If we want to go some place we just use cars and if we want to cook foods we are now using our cooking stove that easily to cook and other technology that we are using practically.

The scientist is the one who invented those things that we’re using right now.

Thanks for them because they invented like those things because we’re not suffering so much in our work not like before. I hope they can make more technology as they made.

Love our own Language ! ! !

Every country has their own dialect like Japanese for the country of Japan, Korean for the Korea, Spanish for the Spain, Chinese for the China and other dialects that we used to communicate to our family, friends and other.

Of course we, Filipinos have our own dialect that we were using which is called Filipino or we practically known as “Tagalog”. We have many dialects in our country such as Waray, Pangasinense, Iloco, Capangpangan and many more but the main dialect that we use is Tagalog, right. Our language is ours that can’t get by the people that are not Filipinos but they can study for it. Filipino comes from the word Philippines which is our country name that we were living for. Our language is the key of our country identity that symbolize as the mirror to us as a Filipino. We were using this language to communicate to the same as Filipinos. We can understand every word they throw to us and they can also understand every word was throwing for them, in short we were understand each other what we were talking about, right. If ever we want to visit some places that still part of our country, we can still communicate to the people who are living in that place because they might know how to speak tagalog or our own language.

So, we must need to know how to use our own dialect and knowing how to give important for it.

Study Hard!!!

Yes!!! First quarter of our fourth year life is now going over. Did you learn something? What are they? Are they still inserted in your mind? Push it out and share to us………..'

Now, more than two months is over for our first quarter life in 4^th year. Many things I have learned in this quarter. In our TLE subject, we started to discuss about the internet that born on 1983. Internet has a virus that found on 1988 which is called the internet worm virus. This is not only the things that I learned in this subject, we also encountered about the Filipino and American pioneers, how the world wide web works, Arpanet, protocol, etc. until we encountered the blog site and create our own that where we will post about our TLE class. The problem/challenge that I have encountered in this class is about the web blog because at first I am so ignorant how to use this site. Yeah I had already heard this before but I didn’t try to visit this site. I had easily jumped this challenge because I’d followed the blog and I am also one of the internet lovers. :)

Being a senior high school student is not easy. See! First quarter is now difficult, how more if the 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th quarter are now here. So, we must give our effort to study hard!

Yeah! Let's Talk!

“Kindly speak to me in English or Filipino”. Any question? Yes, there is, right? Not only English and Filipino are the language in this world, right, why those two languages we will use if there is Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, and other languages that other people used? Why? How it can help to us if we use those two languages?

Yeah!!! If you want to talk to me, use the English or Filipino, okay, because I will not understand if you use the other languages than this. English is the universal language, right. This is the language that every people are studying this, so that we can communicate to the people who are in other country or just we call foreigners. This language can also help us, like for example if we have a business that we want to share to other country; we use this language, so that they will understand us and understand what the product that we advertise. Many Filipinos are interested to work to other country to get a big money, right. If we know to speak English, we can easily adjust communicating others if we were their. Filipino language is the national language of our country, right. Most of us say that the Filipino language is practically the same as Tagalog. If we are here in our own country, we didn’t hear that the Filipino is using other languages than this. We must need to use this language by respecting this as our national language. English club and Filipino club respectively campaigns “Kindly speak to me English or Filipino”. Their aim is to improve our English speaking skills and to promote our own dialect.

So, yeah, we must use our own dialect and the universal language. So that we can easily communicate to others and we can talk as much as we want.

Nutritious Foods makes our Body Healthy

Everyone is questioning ourselves if what is the theme all about which is “Wastong Nutrisyon Kailangan, Lifestyle Diseases Iwasan”. We need a right nutrition to our body? Why? We need to avoid lifestyle diseases? How? What will it gives to us? What will be the result of it? May we have to celebrate it? Many questions are coming from our mind when we hear this theme, not only those mentioned questions because we have concerns about this theme, right?

Yes! Everybody needs a right nutrition for our body because it gives health to us and it will be the wealth for ourselves. I believe in the saying “health is wealth” because if our body is healthy, we can do our job, we can do what we want to do and if we can do everything, its possible that everything will be our wealth, happiness and our life will be colorful. If our body is not healthy, we can also help our not healthy body to avoid it if we were going to eat nutritious foods that we have. But not all foods are nutritious and not all are always agreeable to our body. Vegetables are one of the examples of nutritious foods. Not only eating this kind of foods can avoid our lifestyle diseases, our body also needs exercise for our strength, not drinking alcohol, not taking cigarette.

There has 12 months in a year, July is the nutrition month. In this month, many activities about this theme was done by the head of TLE department and Step Club in ISNHS like cook fest, food fest, mural painting, nutri-jingle, etc. In these activities, we learned many things about the foods that we eat everyday that affect to our body. It’s better to eat nutritious foods than the junk foods, fatty foods because these are the foods that possible our health will affect of it and we didn’t sure if those foods are agreeable to our body.

So, we need right nutrition and avoid our lifestyle diseases. If we were having already a healthy body, it's better to prevalence it. But if we don’t have, we must need to do everything to make our body healthy.
